Ripple hosts Swell 2026 conference in New York

Ripple is hosting its Swell 2026 conference in Manhattan from October 27 to 29, bringing together approximately 1,500 decision-makers from traditional finance, cryptocurrency, academia, and the XRP ecosystem. Held at The Shed, the event integrates three distinct programs for the first time: Swell, the Apex developer summit for the XRP Ledger, and the UBRI Connect academic conference.

The agenda features over 100 speakers and 80 sessions focusing on institutional finance, digital asset markets, stablecoins, and blockchain infrastructure. Notable participants include Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, President Monica Long, CME Group CEO Terrence Duffy, and Bullish CEO Tom Farley. Discussions are expected to cover topics such as real-world asset tokenization, cross-border payments, and the utility of the RLUSD stablecoin.

In conjunction with the conference, Ripple has also introduced updates to its Ripple Treasury platform, including AI-driven automation via GSmart and a 24/7 returns feature for eligible digital assets like RLUSD. Additionally, the Swiss fintech firm Arf has announced a partnership with Ripple to provide settlement liquidity for international payment companies using the XRP Ledger and RLUSD.
