Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse outlines XRP outlook and crypto strategy

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has shared his outlook on the cryptocurrency market, advocating for a diversification strategy. He recommends purchasing and holding the top five cryptocurrencies by market capitalization—currently Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether, BNB, and XRP—for a five-year period.

Regarding the value of XRP, Garlinghouse attributes potential growth to the fundamental laws of supply and demand. He noted that because XRP has a fixed supply, Ripple’s objective is to drive demand through utility, liquidity, and speed. He highlighted the increasing number of financial institutions integrating with the XRP Ledger as evidence that their focus on practical use cases over speculation is working.

When addressing the relationship between XRP and Solana, Garlinghouse stated he does not view Solana as a direct competitor. He noted that while meme coin activity has driven significant liquidity into the Solana network, the success of both ecosystems will depend on their respective developments over time. He expressed a bullish view on a range of cryptocurrencies rather than focusing on a single winner.
