Ripple launches AI payment toolkit and moves Mexican stablecoin to XRPL for cross‑border payments
Ripple announced an AI Starter Kit for developers to build autonomous, agent‑driven payment applications on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). The toolkit supports rapid settlement, continuous operation and the x402 protocol, enabling payments with XRP and Ripple USD (RLUSD). A company spokesperson said, “Los agentes de IA ya no son un escenario futuro. Ya están pagando por capacidad computacional, liquidando facturas, navegando restricciones de políticas y completando transacciones sin intervención humana.”
In parallel, Ripple expanded its partnership with Mexican exchange Bitso, migrating the peso‑backed stablecoin MXNB to the XRPL. The integration creates a regulated on‑chain liquidity bridge between MXNB and Ripple’s RLUSD, allowing businesses to settle U.S.–Mexico B2B transactions faster and at lower cost. Silvio Pegado, Ripple’s Latin America head, described the move as “la próxima evolución de cómo el valor circula entre dólares y pesos mexicanos.”
