Ripple launches MXNB peso stablecoin on XRPL and unveils developer toolkit for XRP payments

Ripple and Mexican crypto exchange Bitso expanded their partnership by issuing a new peso‑pegged stablecoin, MXNB, on the XRP Ledger. MXNB is designed for institutional settlement, integrated into Ripple’s permissioned decentralized exchange and works alongside Ripple’s USD‑backed stablecoin RLUSD to provide liquidity between the US dollar and the Mexican peso. The token targets corporate cross‑border payments and aims to reduce reliance on traditional banking rails.

Ripple also announced an XRPL Toolkit aimed at developers building on the XRP Ledger. The toolkit provides starter infrastructure for agent‑based and AI‑driven applications. In parallel, Ripple added both XRP and its RLUSD stablecoin to the x402 payment protocol, enabling machine‑to‑machine and API‑level transactions that can use either the volatile native token or the stablecoin.
