Ripple launches Ripple Mint platform for institutional RLUSD stablecoin

Ripple has introduced Ripple Mint, a new platform that lets institutional clients issue, redeem, transfer and track the RLUSD stablecoin in real time. The service can be accessed through a web console or via API, with automated workflows and webhook notifications that inform users of key events such as fiat deposits, token issuance and on‑chain settlement.

RLUSD is a USD‑backed stablecoin issued by Standard Custody & Trust Company under New York State Department of Financial Services approval. Ripple Mint adds an identity and authorization layer through its investment in Notabene, reducing manual friction while embedding compliance directly into the transaction flow. The platform also supports multi‑chain bridging, allowing RLUSD to move across the XRP Ledger, Ethereum, XRPL EVM Sidechain, Base, Optimism, Ink and Unichain, and offers institutions the ability to integrate stablecoin operations into existing internal systems.

By automating processes and providing unified tracking, Ripple Mint aims to streamline large‑scale institutional use of stablecoins for payments, treasury management and other financial workflows.
