XRP stalls near $1.14 as technical support tests and Ripple expands XRPL utilities

Across multiple analyses, XRP has slipped below its recent support zones and now hovers around $1.13‑$1.14. Technical analysts flag $1.13 as a critical floor; a breach could open a downside corridor near $0.90‑$1.00 and deeper toward $0.70. Resistance clusters sit at $1.15‑$1.17 and a higher $1.20‑$1.25 band. Trading volume surged, with a 24‑hour session reaching 120 million XRP—about 160 % of average—and exchange outflows remain stronger than inflows, indicating cautious holder behavior. Open interest has fallen from a $10 billion peak to roughly $2.5 billion, reflecting reduced speculative leverage.

Meanwhile, Ripple has broadened XRPL’s utility. The firm announced the launch of the MXNB stablecoin on the XRP Ledger in partnership with Mexico‑based exchange Bitso, adding peso‑linked liquidity alongside the RLUSD dollar token. At the same time Ripple released an AI Starter Kit that lets autonomous agents execute payments on XRPL, aiming to serve emerging AI‑native commerce. Institutional interest is growing, with U.S. spot XRP ETFs attracting about $1.4 billion in net inflows and whale wallets accumulating record volumes. Forecasts generated by AI models project XRP around $1.24 by early July, with upside scenarios tied to continued institutional demand and short‑covering pressure.
