Risaralda allocates 14 billion pesos for earthquake reconstruction

The Risaralda departmental government has allocated 14 billion pesos for hardware supplies to accelerate reconstruction efforts following a recent earthquake. This funding is part of the ‘Banco de Materiales’ strategy, which aims to address repair needs across 14 affected municipalities in the department.

President Abelardo de la Espriella confirmed the arrival of 191 tons of materials and heavy machinery to begin immediate interventions in the most affected homes. The national government's plan involves delivering materials directly to the areas requiring repairs while technical evaluations continue to determine the specific needs of each damaged building.
