Risaralda coffee producers seek European markets at Athens Coffee Festival

Coffee producers from Risaralda, Colombia, participated in the Athens Coffee Festival 2026 in Greece to expand their presence in the European market. Represented by the ‘Hecho en Risaralda’ brand, a delegation of seven companies—including Templario Café S.A.S., Zurcos Café S.A.S., and Combia Mountain Coffee—aimed to establish commercial contacts and secure new distribution channels for specialty coffee products.

The mission, managed by FIDATET ONG Colombia in association with the Risaralda Government, follows a previous participation in 2025. This internationalization effort is viewed as a key component of the region's economic recovery following an earthquake on August 10. The festival provided a platform for local businesses to showcase various coffee varieties to European consumers, industry professionals, and potential buyers.
