Rise Against releases two new singles ahead of U.S. tour

Chicago punk rock band Rise Against has released two new singles, ‘Katy Bar The Door’ and ‘Living Undercover’. The tracks were recorded at The Blasting Room, a studio the band has used frequently throughout their career.

Vocalist Tim McIlrath noted that ‘Katy Bar The Door’ was inspired by the aftermath of violent ICE raids in Minneapolis and serves as a commentary on the fragility of democracy and abuses of power. ‘Living Undercover’ explores the concept of things hidden in plain sight, ranging from beauty to darkness.

The release precedes a headlining U.S. tour scheduled for this fall, which will feature support from Alkaline Trio. The tour is set to begin on September 22 in Dallas, Texas.
