Rishabh Pant seeks to relocate base to Uttarakhand

Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant has initiated efforts to reconnect with his roots in Uttarakhand. Following a public appeal on social media to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami regarding difficulties in acquiring land to move his base from Delhi, the Chief Minister responded by promising “all possible assistance” and describing Pant as the “pride of Uttarakhand.”

In a related development, reconstruction has begun on Pant’s ancestral home in the Pithoragarh district. His mother, Saroj Pant, recently visited the village of Pali-Amdali to seek a contractor for the dilapidated family property. Local residents expressed hope that the renovation will encourage the cricketer to spend more time in the region where he spent part of his childhood.
