Rishi Kapoor honors late brother Rajiv Kapoor's talents

In his autobiography, ‘Khullam Khulla: Rishi Kapoor Uncensored’, late actor Rishi Kapoor reflected on the talents of his younger brother, Rajiv Kapoor. While the public often viewed Rajiv as a failed actor within the prominent Kapoor film dynasty, Rishi described him as the most talented of the three Kapoor brothers.

Despite not achieving sustained cinematic success as a leading man, Rajiv possessed diverse skills, including an aptitude for music and the piano, as well as technical abilities in storytelling and film editing. Rishi noted that Rajiv assisted with the editing of the film ‘Aa Ab Laut Chalen’ and suggested that he might have found greater success had he focused on editing as a primary career.

Rajiv Kapoor, born in Mumbai on August 25, 1962, appeared in films such as ‘Aasman’, ‘Lover Boy’, and ‘Zabardast’. He also worked as a producer and director, helming projects like ‘Prem Granth’ in 1996.
