Rishiri Island and Wakkanai solo travel report

A traveler documented a three-day solo trip to Rishiri Island and Wakkanai in Hokkaido. After arriving in Wakkanai via Haneda Airport, the journey continued by ferry to Rishiri Island.

On the island, the traveler utilized an electric-assist bicycle to circumnavigate the area, visiting landmarks such as Kamui Terrace, Benten-gu Shrine, and Senpashishi Misaki Park. Notable activities included tasting local sea urchin (uni) and exploring Otatomari沼 (Otatomari Marsh). The trip featured local culinary experiences, including Rishiri kelp ramen and various seafood dishes.
