Risonare Shimonoseki to host inaugural Kaikyo Christmas event

Risonare Shimonoseki, a hotel overlooking the Kanmon Strait, will host its inaugural ‘Kaikyo Christmas’ event from December 1 to December 25, 2026. The celebration features a 30-meter tall Christmas tree decorated with projection mapping on the guest wing.

The event includes emerald green illuminations at the Naminami Terrace inspired by the color of the strait, live musical performances featuring violin, saxophone, and cello, and seasonal offerings such as citrus-scented hot wine. Various family-oriented activities, including Christmas craft workshops and a kids' pastry chef program, are also scheduled.
