Risun Group visits Liberty Galați to evaluate potential acquisition

A delegation from the Chinese Risun Group has visited the Liberty Galați steel plant in Romania to evaluate a potential acquisition through direct negotiation. The group, a global leader in the production of metallurgical coke and coal chemicals, aims to expand into the steel industry using its existing expertise in essential raw materials.

Risun Group is a diversified company founded in 1995, operating in sectors including energy, mining, and chemistry, with production units in China and Mongolia. The visit included inspections of primary production flows and rolling mills. Risun Group joins three other companies that have already sent management representatives to assess the industrial platform.
