Ritesh Batra begins filming Long Years Ago in Mumbai

Filmmaker Ritesh Batra has commenced production on his new comedy-drama, ‘Long Years Ago’, in Mumbai. The cast features Saif Ali Khan, Vidya Balan, and Mélanie Laurent.

The project marks a reunion for Khan and Balan, who previously worked together on ‘Parineeta’ and ‘Eklavya: The Royal Guard’. Balan noted her long-standing desire to collaborate with Batra following his work on ‘The Lunchbox’. Khan described the film as a story centered on “love, family, and the things we often struggle to say to one another.”

The film is a production from Poetic License, in partnership with Jio Studios and Good Chaos. Executive producers include Mike Goodridge, Teresa Moneo, and Siddharth Mehra, with Jyoti Deshpande producing for Jio.
