Rittner Buam SkyAlps defeat HC Gherdëina in overtime

Rittner Buam SkyAlps secured their first preseason victory of the season by defeating the reigning Alps Hockey League champion, HC Gherdëina valgardena.it, with a 2-1 win in overtime.

The match in Wolkenstein began with Rittner taking an early lead in the first period when Robert Öhler scored during a power play at the 5:46 mark, assisted by Adam Capannelli. However, HC Gherdëina equalized in the second period at 30:46, when Matteo Luisetti scored a shorthanded goal.

After a scoreless third period, the game proceeded to overtime. Jere Matias Alanen scored the winning goal at 63:46 following an assist from Leo Spornberger to finalize the score.
