Rittner Buam SkyAlps suffer 8-2 defeat against EC Tölzer Löwen

The Rittner Buam SkyAlps suffered a significant 8-2 defeat in their second preseason friendly match against the German third-division side EC Tölzer Löwen in Bad Tölz, Bavaria.

After an early shorthanded goal by Niklas Hörmann gave the German side a 1-0 lead, the Tölzer Löwen extended their advantage to 3-0 through Sandro Schönberger and Korbinian Hopper. Although Angelo Miceli managed to pull one goal back for the Rittner Buam, a second-half brace by Quirin Schlager established a commanding lead for the home team. Despite a goal from Tobias Graf, the Tölzer Löwen secured the victory with late strikes from Lukas Wagner, Toms Prokopovics, and Johannes Hassmann.

The Rittner Buam SkyAlps are scheduled to play their third friendly match against HC Gherdëina Val Gardena next Thursday.
