Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection reports reduced losses and 2028 expansion

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is reporting a reduction in losses despite expanding its fleet to three ships: Evrima, Ilma, and Luminara. In the second quarter, revenue rose to approximately 94 million euros, and the average daily price per passenger increased by 7% to over 1,700 euros. While capacity grew by 50% in the second quarter, occupancy rates saw a slight decline from 57% to 51%.

The company’s losses before interest and taxes decreased from 12 million to 4.2 million euros. Management noted strong bookings and stable pricing. Additionally, the company received 143 million euros in equity through a capital agreement in May.

Looking ahead, the collection has announced its Summer 2028 season, featuring 52 European voyages. The itineraries will include new ports of call in Gijón, Spain, and Portovenere, Italy, with departures from cities such as Rome, Monte Carlo, Athens, Venice, and Reykjavík. Voyages will range from four to nine nights, covering destinations in the Mediterranean, the Greek Isles, the Adriatic, and Northern Europe.
