Rivals season 2 trailer teases new scandals and rivalries

A new trailer for the second season of the British comedy-drama series ‘Rivals’ has been released, teasing the continuation of intense professional and personal conflicts set in the 1980s.

The upcoming episodes follow the escalating feud between Rupert Campbell-Black, a former Olympian and MP, and Tony, Lord Baddingham, the head of Corinium Television. Following the death of Baddingham’s wife, Monica, in a violent storm, the character is depicted as increasingly driven by a desire to destroy his rivals and the upstart station, Venturer.

Romantic entanglements also feature prominently, including Campbell-Black’s relationship with Taggie O’Hara and Baddingham’s ongoing affair with Maud O’Hara. Based on the novel by Dame Jilly Cooper, the series is set in the Cotswolds and explores the high-stakes world of British television. The second half of the season is scheduled to debut on November 11.
