Rivarolo Canavese inaugurates renovated municipal nursery school

The municipal nursery school ‘Il Girotondo’ in Rivarolo Canavese has been officially inaugurated following a complete renovation. Originally built in 1979, the facility has been modernized using approximately 1.3 million euros from PNRR funds, supplemented by 230,000 euros from the municipality.

The upgrades include the installation of a geothermal system, underfloor heating, photovoltaic panels with storage, and a new air treatment and fire safety system. The renovation also features energy-efficient lighting with natural light regulation and motion sensors, as well as an updated exterior coating and improved green spaces for children. The facility can accommodate up to 59 children between the ages of 3 months and 3 years.
