Rivas-Vaciamadrid invests 14.4 million euros in school climate control

The Rivas-Vaciamadrid City Council has invested 14.4 million euros in aerothermal systems to provide climate control for nine public educational centers. This first phase includes one nursery, four infant schools, and four primary schools.

The new system utilizes air energy and is supported by photovoltaic panels to reduce consumption. It is designed to renew classroom air every 14 minutes, aiming to create more comfortable and energy-efficient environments for students. The council intends to expand this plan to other centers during the 2026-2027 school year.
