Rivas Vaciamadrid PP denounces vandalism against officials

The People's Party (PP) in Rivas Vaciamadrid has reported several instances of vandalism involving graffiti directed at party members and representatives. The messages include personal insults against Councilor Jesús Martínez Caballero and derogatory remarks toward Isabel Díaz Ayuso, as well as messages telling the party's youth wing, Nuevas Generaciones, to leave the neighborhood.

PP spokesperson Janette Novo characterized the acts as intimidation rather than political criticism, stating that targeting a specific opposition councilor constitutes an attack on democratic coexistence. The party has accused Mayor Aída Castillejo and the local government of fostering a ‘climate of impunity’ through years of passivity toward ideological vandalism.

In response, Martínez Caballero stated that the perpetrators are acting out of nervousness regarding an imminent political shift. The PP municipal group has demanded a public condemnation from the Mayor, the immediate removal of the graffiti, and measures to identify those responsible.
