Leaked images have revealed the design for the River Plate 2027 third kit, manufactured by Adidas. The kit features a predominantly red base with white logos, a color scheme that is considered rare for the club’s third kits.

The design serves as a modern tribute to the club’s 1996–98 away kit. It incorporates a contemporary interpretation of the iconic diagonal sash, constructed from a series of thin, contiguous dark red stripes that run through the club crest.

While some previous leaks suggested a polo collar, recent product images show a round neckline, leading to speculation that the design may still be a prototype. The official release of the kit is expected in early 2027.
