River Plate President addresses sporting crisis and AFA tensions

Di Carlo described the current situation as ‘grave’ but expressed confidence in the club’s financial and sporting resources to reverse the trend.

Addressing internal conflicts, Di Carlo admitted that the club made an ‘error in the ways’ regarding the decision to separate a group of players from the professional squad. While defending the necessity of the move to facilitate new signings, he apologized to those involved. He also reaffirmed his full support for manager Eduardo Coudet, stating that the coaching staff maintains the trust of the players.
