Rivera brothers clash over Paquirri inheritance
The long-standing inheritance dispute between the sons of the late bullfighter Paquirri has resurfaced. While a recent gesture by Kiko Rivera—handing over two bull heads that belonged to his father—initially appeared to signal a reconciliation with brothers Francisco and Cayetano Rivera, the peace has proven temporary.
Reports indicate that the brothers are still seeking the remaining personal items listed in the inheritance distribution. These items include professional and personal belongings such as ‘trajes de luces’ (suits of lights), swords, crutches, and other memorabilia related to their father's career.
Francisco Rivera has expressed exhaustion regarding the ongoing conflict, stating, ‘I am not going to talk about the subject anymore. I am already very burned out with everything.’ Cayetano Rivera has also been explicit, noting that the bull heads do not resolve the core issue of the missing personal belongings.
