Riverbed launches Network 360 with agentic AI for IT operations
Riverbed has launched Network 360, a suite of AI-powered network observability tools designed to assist IT operations teams in diagnosing performance issues and predicting disruptions. The platform integrates agentic AI technology into existing monitoring products to provide deeper visibility across cloud infrastructure, remote endpoints, and Zero Trust environments.
Central to the new offering is Riverbed IQ, a cloud-based intelligence layer that utilizes causal, predictive, and generative AI to analyze operational data. This is complemented by Riverbed Q, a conversational assistant that enables network engineers to investigate incidents using natural language. These capabilities are being integrated into the company’s AppResponse packet capture platform and NetProfiler flow monitoring product.
To address visibility gaps caused by hybrid work and public cloud adoption, Riverbed is also introducing NPM+, an endpoint-based observability capability. According to Chief Technology Officer Richard Tworek, the goal is to move network professionals away from manually connecting data points across disconnected dashboards toward guided, AI-driven workflows that accelerate troubleshooting and root-cause identification.
