Riverbend Counseling Opens Second New Braunfels Office to Expand Therapy Access

Riverbend Counseling, a mental‑health practice in New Braunfels, Texas that has served the community for more than 25 years, opened a second office to meet growing demand for counseling in one of the fastest‑growing regions of the state. The new Edgewater location at 1111 North Walnut Avenue sits directly above the original office at 1099 North Walnut Avenue, Suite A, allowing the practice’s nine licensed clinicians to see more individuals, couples and families in person.

Owner Jay Jeter said the expansion provides “more appointment availability while keeping care close to home.” The practice offers services for anxiety, OCD, depression, anger management, trauma, grief, family concerns and couples counseling. Clients may use private‑pay or insurance, with benefits verified within 24 hours, and the practice also provides secure online therapy throughout Texas. Both sites share a single phone line and intake process to keep access simple.
