Rivers State ADC candidate Gabriel Pidomson challenges political establishment

Gabriel Pidomson, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate for Rivers State, has criticized the political establishment in the region, specifically targeting the Nyesom Wike-led Rainbow Coalition. Pidomson stated that Rivers State is “nobody’s private estate” and expressed his intention to challenge the influence of existing political blocs in the upcoming 2027 elections.

Pidomson also called upon the Inspector-General of Police, the Rivers Commissioner of Police, and the Department of State Services (DSS) to protect the constitutional rights of political parties. He alleged that members of the ruling APC have disrupted ADC activities and urged security agencies to investigate and prosecute those responsible for restricting political campaigns and activities in the state.
