Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara swears in 12 permanent secretaries
Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State administered oaths to twelve newly appointed permanent secretaries during a ceremony at the Executive Council Chambers of Government House in Port Harcourt on Wednesday. The oath‑taking was overseen by Deputy Chief Registrar (Administration) of the High Court of Rivers State, Magistrate Betty Sunny‑Hart.
Among the appointees were Freddy Ndigbara, Fortune Akpila, Promise Oguzie, Ibisoye Lolomari Nwankwo, Ibiyemibara Joseph Uzoma, Mercy Dagogo Iboroma, Vincent Worgu Wachukwu, Ifeanyi Anthony Ogboma, Mina Gogo Jim‑Jaja, Henry Uzor, Chimenum Anebo Mpi and Mina Tele Ikuru. Governor Fubara urged the new secretaries to honour their oath by serving every man and woman, the state, and the Federal Republic of Nigeria with professionalism, integrity and commitment, warning against complacency and personal interest. He expressed confidence that their leadership would help the administration achieve its goal of moving Rivers State forward.
