Rivers State, Nigeria Crash Kills Herder and 11 Cattle

A Mercedes‑Benz vehicle traveling in a convoy crashed into a herd of cattle crossing the East‑West Road at Evekwu in Rumuodogu, Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria. The collision killed an unidentified herder and about 11 cattle; another herder was injured and taken to hospital. Police from the Emohua Division recovered the deceased's body to the morgue, while the driver and other occupants fled the scene. The Rivers State Police Command confirmed the incident and said an investigation is ongoing.
