Riverside, California: Two Men Charged in High School Campus Shooting

Arthur Joseph Henderson, 27, of Las Vegas, and Omarey Trayvon Hart, 20, of Ontario, have been charged with first‑degree murder, attempted murder and felon‑in‑possession of a firearm for the July 5 killing of 33‑year‑old motorist Robert Moore. The attack began on Central Avenue in Riverside and continued into the parking lot of the closed Poly High School, where a second shooting occurred. Moore was mortally wounded and died at Riverside Community Hospital; no other persons were injured.

Both suspects were arrested – Henderson in Victorville and Hart in Ontario – and are being held on $2 million bail each. Their arraignment is scheduled for August 31 in Riverside County Superior Court. Police have not disclosed a motive for the predawn car‑to‑car assault.
