RiverStone International appoints David Soutter as Group CRO

RiverStone International has appointed David Soutter as Group Chief Risk Officer (CRO). Soutter, who joined the company in April 2025 as the Head of Risk in Bermuda, will report directly to Group CEO Paul Brockman.

Soutter brings over 25 years of experience in the global re/insurance market. He previously held several senior leadership roles at Zurich Insurance Group, including Chief Financial Officer of its Bermuda operations and Project Director for internal reinsurance. His expertise includes enterprise risk management, finance, capital oversight, and regulatory engagement.

In addition to his corporate role, Soutter serves as the Deputy Chair of the Insurance and Reinsurance Legacy Association (IRLA) Bermuda and as Treasurer of the Bermuda Foundation for Insurance Studies (BFIS).
