Riverun trail running event returns to Rimini on October 10

The Riverun, an autumn trail running event organized by the Rimini Marathon team, is scheduled to take place in Rimini on Saturday, October 10. The event features a 15-kilometer competitive trail race and a 5-kilometer recreational walk, both starting at 16:00 from Piazza dell’Acqua at the Ponte di Tiberio.

The 15-kilometer course follows the Marecchia river and is designed to be accessible, utilizing mostly packed paths rather than highly technical terrain, meaning standard running shoes are sufficient. Participants in the competitive race have a maximum time limit of two and a half hours.

Registration fees are 15 euros for the long race and 8 euros for the 5-kilometer walk when booked online by October 7, with slightly higher prices available on-site. Participants will receive a race pack with sponsor products and a discount voucher for the Rimini Marathon in April 2027. The top three male and female finishers in the competitive race will be awarded prizes.
