Tesla, Toyota, and Rivian report Q3 2026 vehicle delivery and sales results

Tesla reported third-quarter 2026 vehicle deliveries of 486,532 units, exceeding Wall Street analyst expectations which had centered around 461,000 units. While this figure represents a roughly 2% decline compared to the same period in 2025, it marks an increase from the second quarter of 2026. The Model 3 and Model Y accounted for approximately 98% of total deliveries. Tesla also produced 464,391 vehicles during the quarter.

In the United States, Toyota Group saw a 0.6% increase in third-quarter sales, totaling 633,223 vehicles. This growth was primarily driven by a 28.5% surge in electrified vehicle sales, which reached 363,367 units and comprised 57.4% of the group's total deliveries for Toyota and Lexus brands.

Rivian Automotive also reported strong third-quarter performance, delivering 19,248 vehicles and producing 19,751 units. This represents a 46% increase in deliveries compared to the same period last year. Despite the beat, Rivian reaffirmed its full-year 2026 delivery guidance of 65,000 to 70,000 vehicles.
