Riviera Book Fest awards Antonello Troya prize to Attilio Sabato in Belvedere Marittimo
The third edition of the Riviera Book Fest took place in Belvedere Marittimo from 7 to 9 August 2026. The opening night on 7 August, held at the Capotirone Rotonda, featured the presentation of the Antonello Troya Journalism Prize. Attilio Sabato, director of the regional TV channel TEN, was honoured for his long‑standing work reporting on Calabria with professionalism and courage. The award ceremony was organised by the municipality and the culture assessor Raffaela Sansoni, and the Troya family expressed gratitude, recalling Antonello Troya’s legacy of fearless investigative reporting.
The festival also offered a literary programme with thirteen publishing houses, author talks, exhibitions at the Museum of the Sea, a concert by Francesco Caggiano and a final concert on 9 August. The event is promoted as a key cultural‑tourism highlight for the region.
