Rixos Hotels Egypt wins seven World Travel Awards

Rixos Hotels Egypt secured seven honors at the 2026 World Travel Awards Africa Gala Ceremony held in Zanzibar, Tanzania. The awards recognize various properties across the company’s portfolio in Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada, and Alexandria.

In Hurghada, Rixos Premium Magawish Suites & Villas was named both Egypt’s Leading Resort 2026 and Egypt’s Leading Beach Resort 2026. Additionally, Rixos Premium Seagate earned titles for Egypt’s Leading Family Resort 2026 and Africa’s Leading Water Park 2026 for its Aqua Park.

Other accolades included Egypt’s Leading All-Inclusive Resort 2026 for Rixos Sharm El Sheikh Adults Only 18+, Egypt’s Leading Heritage Hotel 2026 for Rixos Montaza Alexandria, and Egypt’s Leading Luxury Hotel Villa 2026 for the Premium Villa @ Club Prive by Rixos Sharm El Sheikh.
