Riyadh Air adds Pakistan, Malaysia routes in network expansion

Saudi Arabia’s new national carrier, Riyadh Air, is expanding its international network. The airline plans to launch flights to Pakistan by mid‑August, with seven weekly services from Islamabad and three from Lahore, after completing a few remaining administrative steps. Bookings for the Pakistan routes are already open on the airline’s website.

Riyadh Air has also inaugurated a three‑times‑weekly nonstop service between Riyadh and Kuala Lumpur, its first destination in Southeast Asia. The Kuala Lumpur route aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 and aims to boost tourism, trade, education and religious travel between Saudi Arabia and the ASEAN region, further strengthening the carrier’s global connectivity.
