Riyadh Joins Global Quality of Life Index to Boost Urban Standards

Riyadh has become a member of the Global Quality of Life Index (QoLI), an international framework developed by the Quality of Life Program Center in partnership with UN‑Habitat. The accession underscores Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goal of positioning the capital among the world’s leading cities for living, working and investment.

The index offers a scientific measurement system that evaluates cities on health and well‑being, urban environment, economic and social opportunities, housing, mobility, public services, green spaces, safety and mental and physical health. Riyadh’s participation is supported by the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, the Riyadh Region Municipality and the Quality of Life Program Center, aiming to guide policy and improve residents’ welfare.
