Riyadh to host Security and History Dialogue Conference 2026

The Ministry of Interior is hosting the ‘Security and History Dialogue Conference 2026’ in Riyadh from September 6 to 8. Held at the Cultural Palace in the Diplomatic Quarter, the event operates under the theme ‘Our History and Our Future: Security and Growth.’

The conference aims to examine Saudi Arabia’s historical milestones, the evolution of its foreign relations, and the role of diplomacy in serving national interests. It features more than 50 interactive sessions and over 160 speakers, including prominent diplomats and researchers such as former Egyptian Ambassador Ahmed Farouk and former Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Osama bin Ahmed Naqli.

Key discussion topics include the relationship between security and history in state-building, the impact of security stability on attracting global investment, and the integration of artificial intelligence and cyber technologies into security systems. The event also addresses national identity, moderate thought, and the role of security in supporting Saudi Vision 2030. The King Abdulaziz Foundation serves as the primary partner, with the Royal Commission for Riyadh City participating as a strategic partner.
