Rize police search for missing 13-year-old girl

Authorities in Rize, Turkey, have launched an extensive search for 13-year-old Ceylin Altıntaş, who has been missing for two days. She reportedly left her home in the Kanbursırt neighborhood on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.

Security camera footage indicates she was last seen at the Rize Bus Station (Rize Otogarı). Her family noted that she suffers from psychological issues and may have left the house through a window. The Rize Provincial Police Department is currently reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses to locate her.
