R.J. Decker Season 2 finale airs on ABC

The second season of the ABC series ‘R.J. Decker’ concluded with its season finale, titled ‘Before You Accuse Me,’ on Tuesday, October 27. The episode follows R.J. (Scott Speedman) as he is hired by Emi (Jaina Lee Ortiz) to re-investigate the murder of a police officer in an attempt to exonerate a man who may have been wrongly convicted.

The investigation creates tension between R.J. and Detective Mel Abreu (Bevin Bru). The finale ended on a cliffhanger involving a threat from the widow of the deceased officer toward characters Catherine and Sofia. Actress Bevin Bru noted in an interview that while the ending was shocking, she does not expect the network to permit brutal character deaths, expressing hope for further character development in a potential third season.
