RJ Mahvash Confirms Return to India's Got Latent Season 2

RJ Mahvash, former radio jockey and influencer, confirmed that she will appear in the second season of comedian Samay Raina’s YouTube talent show India’s Got Latent. In an interview she said, “When we were shooting for another show, Samay asked me if I would attend the next season of his comedy talent show… I told him I would definitely come.”

Mahvash also defended Raina, podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia and other creators involved in the first‑season controversy, noting, “I agree that they were wrong, but humans do make mistakes. Let’s not roast them further.” The controversy stemmed from a joke about parents and sex that led to multiple FIRs, legal scrutiny and the removal of the show’s episodes from YouTube. Despite the backlash, Mahvash said she continues to support the creators because of personal professional help they gave her.

The announcement has sparked online discussion, with some praising her loyalty and others questioning the timing of the show’s return. Samay Raina has confirmed that season 2 is in production, following his recent stand‑up special that hinted at the show’s comeback.
