Actor RJ Mitte, best known for his role as Walter “Flynn” White Jr. in the AMC series “Breaking Bad”, has died at the age of 34. His death occurred on Monday, October 12, 2026, at his residence in Brownsville, Texas.

Mitte’s representative, Sean Reilly, confirmed the news, describing the loss of the “beloved actor, philanthropist, and passionate advocate for disability rights” as tragic. Living with cerebral palsy, Mitte used his platform to promote inclusion and authenticity in the entertainment industry. He served as an ambassador for organizations such as United Cerebral Palsy and Shriners Children’s, and presided over The Mitte Foundation.

Colleagues and co-stars expressed profound grief. “RJ, I love you, my friend. We will miss you,” said Aaron Paul, who played Jesse Pinkman. Bryan Cranston, his “Breaking Bad” co-star, also shared a tribute, noting that Mitte never let his disability serve as an excuse. Mitte was recently engaged to Kennedy Suarez.
