RJD legislator criticizes NDA government over UPI charges and UCC

RJD legislator Bhai Virendra has criticized the NDA government regarding new UPI charges, accusing the central administration of attempting to empty the pockets of citizens. He stated that the government is placing an undue burden on the public amidst high inflation, unemployment, and rising crime rates.

Virendra also addressed the controversy surrounding the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), arguing that the government is using the issue to distract from its failures in managing economic and social stability. He emphasized that India is a secular nation where the constitution guarantees the right to follow any religion.

Furthermore, the legislator called upon the youth and 'Gen Z' to take to the streets to protect the country's future. Regarding regional issues, he questioned the effectiveness of central committees visiting Bihar to assess flood and rain damage, specifically asking Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to clarify what financial assistance or special packages will be provided to the state.
