RJD spokesperson Shakti Singh Yadav attacks BJP over Ram temple donation scandal and Rabi housing dispute

On July 4 in Patna, Rajya Dal (RJD) spokesperson Shakti Singh Yadav launched a broad criticism of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the central government. He accused the BJP of exploiting the name of Lord Ram for political gain and of allowing a theft of donations meant for the Ram temple construction. Yadav also condemned statements by RSS leader Dattatreya Hosbhol and warned that any proven involvement of religious custodians would merit strict action.

Yadav highlighted several other grievances: he defended the security of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, dismissed allegations of hidden chambers in the Rabi Devi housing complex as baseless, and questioned the development record of Assam’s chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. He also alleged that the BJP is trying to weaken West Bengal’s Trinamool Congress. The spokesperson called for stringent measures against those who misuse religious institutions for fundraising and urged the BJP to demonstrate genuine respect for religious sentiments.
