Füchse Berlin defeat Partizan in Champions League opener
Füchse Berlin secured a dominant 44-33 victory against RK Partizan AdmiralBet in their EHF Champions League Group A opener held in Belgrade. The match marked Partizan’s return to the elite European competition for the first time since the 2012/13 season.
Despite a competitive start where the score was tied at 4-4, Berlin quickly asserted control, leading 23-15 at halftime. The German side capitalized on technical errors and fast-paced play to maintain a significant lead throughout the second half. Mathias Gidsel led the scoring for Berlin with nine goals, supported by Tobias Gröndahl with eight.
