RM curates art exhibition at SFMOMA

The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) has opened the exhibit ‘RM x SFMOMA: Between You and Me’, curated by Kim Nam-joon, the leader of the group BTS. The exhibition features approximately 150 pieces, including items from RM’s personal collection alongside works provided by the museum.

The collection spans various mediums, including paintings, ceramics, sculptures, textiles, and mixed-media works. Notable artists featured include Yun Hyong-keun, Mark Rothko, Chang Ucchin, and Nam June Paik. The exhibit also highlights Korean art, such as works by Kim Whan-ki and Quac Insik.

Visitors can engage with the collection through an audio guide featuring RM’s commentary, and the exhibit space includes murals featuring his personal handwriting. The curation explores themes of serenity, nature, and the human experience, connecting personal reflections with the displayed artworks.
