RMB Namibia wins Global Finance World’s Best Sub‑Custodian Bank award for 2026

RMB Namibia was named Global Finance’s World’s Best Sub‑Custodian Bank for 2026, part of the magazine’s 24th annual Best Sub‑Custodian Bank Awards that evaluated institutions across 83 countries. Winners were judged on client service, operational excellence, technology, post‑settlement efficiency and local market expertise.

CEO Daniel Motinga said the award reflects the bank’s strong people, systems and commitment to excellence, and highlights its growing capability across Southern Africa. The recognition reinforces RMB Namibia’s position as a trusted partner for institutional investors navigating increasingly complex global markets. The bank, a subsidiary of the FirstRand Group operating since 2014, offers corporate banking, trade finance, foreign exchange, global markets and custody services.
