Şırnak hosts children's theater event for 600 students

Approximately 600 students attended a children's theater event in Şırnak, held at the Şırnak Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism Conference Hall. Sponsored by Halkbank and supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the program featured a musical titled ‘Superheroes: We Are Protecting Our World,’ starring Azra Akın. The performance aimed to teach children about savings, conscious consumption, and the protection of natural resources.

Following the event, Halkbank provided piggy banks to the participating students. Celal Baz, the Şırnak Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism, noted that the local library serves approximately 1,000 students daily and houses 72,000 books. He also highlighted the availability of maker, music, and art workshops, as well as upcoming plans for theater, drama, and music courses, including piano and guitar.
