RNI leader proposes 5,000 dirham minimum wage and school reforms

Mohamed Chaouki, president of the Rassemblement National des Indépendants (RNI), has outlined several key social and educational objectives for the party. Regarding economic policy, Chaouki indicated that the RNI aims to raise the minimum wage to 5,000 dirhams.

In the education sector, the party intends to generalize the ‘pioneer schools’ project across the country by 2031. This initiative, which has received international recognition for its effectiveness in improving learning outcomes, is part of a broader effort to combat school dropout rates and use education as a tool for social mobility.

Chaouki also emphasized the party’s commitment to social protection, including the expansion of compulsory health insurance and direct social assistance. Additionally, he noted the party's focus on political renewal, stating that 38% of their announced electoral candidates are new faces, aiming to balance experience with generational change.
